Fight back to School

Here's an interesting read. Might not be totally relevant to us students, but it does offer some life lessons.

Anyway, sponsors for NUS Open confirmed so far are Heeren Shops, Thorb and Naughty G. Negotiations with other sponsors are still in the works. We are also still looking out for other sponsors to spice up our event, so do let us know if there's any.

SUNIG Team list

Hello everybody,

Hope everybody's fine with school work and training!
After much consideration and discussion within the EXCO, the following are the players who will be playing for SUNIG:

1. Ken
2. Kenneth
3. Bi Wei
4. Bryon
5. Andre
6. Matthew
7. Mark Zhang
8. Jiale
9. Joel
10. Pinkie
11. Marcus Goh
12. Marcus Tan
13. Wei Nian
14. Ben Cai
15. Kenneth Foo
16. Bing Ren

The selection for SUNIG, as mentioned many times previously, is based on both merit and attendance. Additionally, we have decided to field a younger team this time round to allow the younger players to gain experience playing with the seniors and also in preparation for IRAUQ's team selection. This will allow us to have a fairer evaluation when the time comes.

For the rest, come down for training regularly! There's still IRAUQ and NUS Open to look forward to.

Regards,
Bryon

Singapore UNIversity Games (SUNIG)

Gentlemen. Some of you guys are asking about SUNIG and in case you miss the emails that we have circulated, the fixtures of SUNIG are as follows:

27/09/2009 (Sun) 1100hrs NUS vs SMU
03/10/2009 (Sat) 1200hrs NUS vs NTU
04/10/2009 (Sun) 1100hrs NUS vs SIM

SUNIG will be held at Toa Payoh Pool. Be at the pool 45 minutes before the start of each game.

Bryon will release the details of the team playing soon. And for those not in the team, be it Year 1s or Year 2s, we recommend that you come down for a game or 2. This is so that you can see for yourselves the standards of the other universities and have a proper idea of what to expect when we play them again in the NUS Open come January. Also, watching the games can also give you guys a better idea of the game with respect to how it is played competitively and the tactics employed.

Matthew.

Our new coach, Mr Yu Lei, will be coming down for his first training session with us, teamNUS, tomorrow at 1930hrs. Gentlemen, please all do turn up on time, and turn up full strength. Also, with respect to the freshies, I think from now on, stay on after your training sessions and join us for some kick-ass action. I promise it will be all fun.
